Fluxes are an essential component of a soldering process. As an independent process, flux application requires extensive know-how, just like the subsequent soldering process.
Therefore, various processes enable a precisely fitting flux application: starting with high-precision injection fluxing, through spatter-free brush fluxing and area-efficient spray fluxing, up to stroke-dip fluxing, which optimises the cycle time. To ensure sustainable flux application, all process modules can be freely integrated and expanded within specific configuration options.
Mostly, the quantity and position-monitored inject fluxing is used. Because flux can be applied with high precision to defined areas, flux consumption is reduced.
Lift-dip fluxing is also frequently used, whereby the surface to be wetted is immersed in the flux. While a two-chamber flux preparation ensures the perfect mixing ratio of the flux, a cover protects against evaporation. This ensures economical and sustainable flux handling. In addition, it is possible to document all spray-jet application processes by means of flux-jet monitoring. This allows complete job monitoring to be guaranteed.
